Posters from the 2013 Wikilicious project

Dr. Fuller has been researching and writing about whistleblowing and hactivism since the release of the Iraq Files and Diplomatic Cables by Wikileaks in 2010.

In late 2013 she launched the Wikilicious project to raise awareness for whistleblower defense organisations including Wikileaks, the Private Manning Support Network and the Freedom of the Press Foundation.

She has consistently argued that whether or not ad hominem attacks and accusations about Wikileaks founder Julian Assange’s personal conduct have a factual basis is irrelevant to the importance of his work and his support for whistleblowers. In addition, she has highlighted the need for the UK and Swedish governments to respect the verdict of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention who ruled that Assange was being arbitrarily detained in contravention of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

Dr. Fuller has written extensively on the need to protect whistleblowers both for academic journals and in international media.
